Virgin Coconut Oil: Traditional

Virgin Coconut Oil: Traditional

63 reviews

Baraka’s traditional coconut oil is hand grown and harvested by small-holder farms in Ghana. The coconuts are transported to a food-grade facility where they are traditionally processed using techniques passed down through generations. This traditional method heightens the flavour, creating a sweet, toasted coconutty oil that many prefer for products, cooking, and eating.

BENEFITS

Our traditional coconut oil has lots of great benefits:

- Reduces dryness and seals moisture into the skin.

- High in lauric acid which adds a smooth texture to product formulations and also boosts collagen production to maintain the skin’s elasticity.

- Rich in antioxidants, like vitamin E, to protect the skin and reduce signs of ageing.

- Has anti-inflammatory properties to soothe irritated skin.

- Delicious natural coconutty scent.

HOW TO USE

With lots of great benefits, coconut oil is a popular ingredient in product formulations. It is an excellent addition to body butters and lotions, thanks to its hydrating properties, but also works to cleanse and nourish the skin in soaps.
