Asongo Basket Group Welcome Dance

Meetings, activities and events are traditionally opened with song and dance. It injects energy into whatever is happening and helps get everyone in a joyous and open mind and space.

The Asongo Basket Group in NE Ghana is opening a meeting with Baraka with song and dance. The energy the women put into the dance is amazing, especially when you consider the heat that they are doing it in. Temperatures often in the 40+ (well over 100 F for my American friends 😊)
