Baraka has always wanted to make a difference, but how are we actually making an impact?
THE WOMEN - When Baraka started working with the women, the first thing they mentioned they wanted to improve was education and health. By providing the women with a dignified income and financial independence, they are able to send their children to school and pay for their healthcare needs.
THE ENVIRONMENT - By giving the women the power to earn an income, they are incentivised to take care of the environment. Trees are now valued as a long term source of income.
THE CONSUMERS - We are providing high quality products that make a difference in the lives of people using them.
